American Cheese
American cheese. You have eaten it before. Whether it was in a Subway sandwich or not, you have had it. America cheese is probably the most popular cheese. It was originated in Switzerland in 1911, by a man named James L. Craft. He probably just put a bunch of different types of cheese together, and found that it tasted different, but still like cheese. The to be more original, he put some other stuff with the cheese and made... America cheese.

Deep under the grounds of Springfield, Missouri, there is about a 2 million square feet refrigerated cave full of cheese. Craft alone has bought about 400,000 feet square feet of the 2 million. There are many types of cheeses in this cave, such as Velveeta cheese, Philadelphia cream cheese, and even Lunchables. There is even some Jell- o and meats. All of this was brought to the cave by boats. The government has kept this cave made made more in fear of running out of cheese. Cheese was given out for free to schools a restaurants.

How it relates to and impacts history
America cheese has made an impact on history due to the many changes throughout the years. For example: During the 60s, American Cheese was given out for free to people. The Missouri cheese cave was started in 1894, ad probably more things that I didn't research. American cheese will probably still be a big part of history and always changing.
